Many problems arise if any trace of oil, grease, gasoline, antifreeze, road salts, or any foreign substances remain on surface and this will significantly decrease the ability of any surface coat bonding to the floor.

The preparation of the surface is the most crucial stage to ensure long term bonding performance of a concrete epoxy coating. At Irondrive we do not take shortcuts. We have the best machines for all stages and get it done the right way the first time. To get your floor ready we literally remove a layer of 1/16th to 1/8th of an inch of concrete. This essential step removes all surface impurities and allows the coating to be applied to a clean surface.
